  • irritability or emotional shutdown

  • self harm

  • inability to go to school

  • questions around identity, relationships, or direction

  • disordered eating or significant changes in eating habits

  • withdrawal, loneliness, or isolation

  • falling grades, missed classes, or academic probation

  • difficulty getting out of bed or managing daily responsibilities

  • struggles with identity, belonging, or finding direction

Therapy for Young Adults Across Virginia

Whether you're attending college close to home or have a job across Virginia, our therapists can meet with you virtually, as long as you're physically located in Virginia during sessions.

Parents Can Help With the Cost. Therapy Is Still Your Space.

We know many parents want to help their college students and young adults get the support they need. Parents are welcome to pay for therapy while their young adult enjoys the privacy and independence of having their own therapist.

Sessions are confidential, and parents do not need to be involved in treatment. We can arrange billing separately, with appropriate privacy protections, so students have a space that truly belongs to them.

How We Help Teens & Young Adults

We go beyond simply offering a place to talk. We help young adults & teens recognize patterns, work through painful experiences, and develop practical tools to manage the challenges they're facing.

For some, therapy means learning to quiet a racing mind, manage panic attacks, navigate complicated friendships

and relationships, or regain confidence when school and life feel overwhelming.

For others, the work goes deeper, addressing trauma, self-harm, emotional regulation, identity, or feelings of hopelessness that have made everyday life difficult.

We meet teens and young adults where they are, building trust and using approaches that fit their personalities, interests, and needs.

You do not have to wait until things get worse

If something feels off, it is worth paying attention to. We are here to help you make sense of what is happening and take the next step forward.
