I also train and mentor therapists at our center and through out the world through my training company WIllow's Crown. It is one of my greatest passions to help develop thoughtful, grounded clinicians who bring both skill and heart to their work.
My work helps people understand how trauma and stress live in the body, develop the tools to regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been lost, silenced, or overwhelmed.
I bring my love of teaching into the therapy room by empowering clients (and parents if applicable) to understand what is happening within them and why, so they can become active participants in their own healing.
I use play therapy with young children and a creative, body-aware approach with teens and adults, integrating talk therapy with experiential methods such as Brainspotting, sand tray, meditation, and the Safe and Sound Protocol. We can do all or none of those experiences. I love having them on deck for when it's right.
Outside of the office, I enjoy riding my bike to the grocery store, yoga on my deck, and walking my dog through the forest. I have a passion for training my vizsla, studying herbs, and cooking tasty meals with my BFF husband of 30+ years.
